The first step is to visit a chapter or chapters in your region to ensure that BNI is something you feel will add value to your business. At the same time you might like to run a category search in the Trade Directory to find who else from your trade or profession is already an active member of BNI - you may be surprised at how many of your competitors you find!
All chapters are listed on the website - however as we only permit one person per trade or profession in a chapter - the next step is to contact the BNI Office about the chapter you are interested in prior to your visit to ensure that there is a vacancy for you. You can use the link below and one of our dedicated team will contact you to discuss the best chapter for your needs or contact us on 5562 0405.
At your visit - if you decide you would like to apply for membership in that chapter - you can submit an application form together with your investment option to the chapter's Leadership Team for review. An existing member will sponsor you (usually the person who invited you) and you are required to provide two business references (not members of the chapter you are applying to) for review by the chapter's Leadership Team as part of the approval process.
In the event that there is no vacancy available in a suitable chapter we will place on the waiting list and may offer you the opportunity to be part of the start-up for a new chapter.
